Visa requirements
Prepare the following for your United Kingdom application. Requirements can vary by visa type and applicant profile.
- Nigerian passport valid for the duration of your stay with at least one blank page (plus previous passports)
- Completed online UK visa application (VAF) and printed confirmation
- Recent digital passport photograph (as specified during booking)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test certificate from an IOM-approved clinic in Nigeria
- Bank statements for the last 6 months
- Proof of employment, business ownership (CAC), or studies
- Evidence of accommodation and your travel itinerary
- Cover letter explaining the purpose and length of your visit
- Proof of funds to cover the trip
- Sponsor's documents and invitation letter (if applicable)
- Previous travel history (old passports)
- Visa fee (and healthcare surcharge, if applicable) payment confirmation
